The Miss Moore County and Miss Sandhills Scholarship Competitions are official preliminaries to Miss North Carolina and Miss North Carolina's Outstanding Teen.
Mission
To empower young women to become their very best while providing them a forum to express themselves through their talent, community service and other endeavors and providing the scholarship money to aid in their further growth and education.
Who Can Compete?
The Miss Moore County title is open to young women 18-25 who live, work or attend school in Chatham, Cumberland, Hoke, Harnett, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Robeson or Scotland counties. The Miss Sandhills title is open to ALL COUNTIES in North Carolina. Both of our Outstanding Teen titles ( for ages 13-17) are open to ALL COUNTIES in North Carolina.
Why Be A Part Of Our Organization?
Since beginning our pageant we have had top ten placement, second runners up, fourth runners up, talent winners, evening gown and swimsuit preliminary winners, congeniality winners, community service winners, academic scholar winners and spirit of pageantry award winners. Our organization has won the following awards: 2009 Outstanding New Local, Executive Director - 2010 Volunteer of the year, Business Manager - 2012 Volunteer of the Year, Gina Jacobs Memorial Scholarship Award, 2012 "Buddy" Executive Director of the Year, 2015 Local Preliminary of the Year, and the 2016 Local Production of the Year.
